TWENTY New SKILL LABS are Now Live in CMD+CTRL Base Camp!
Security Innovation’s new Skill Labs provide learners an entirely new type of immersive training experience – and have some important differences from our Learn Labs you should know.
New Skill Labs are only available through the recently-released CMD+CTRL Base Camp learning platform. Some Skill Labs concentrate on using an emulated IDE to both find and fix insecure code. Others use the MITRE ATT&CK Framework to either help defenders learn to choose appropriate defensive strategies when dealing with cyber-attacks or understand an attacker’s Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP). Skill labs are challenge-based and are usually associated with intermediate to advanced-level developers and cybersecurity professionals. Details of the twenty new Skill Labs can be found here.
Learn Labs were introduced in Q4 of 2021. They guide learners through immersive, hands-on examples of vulnerabilities introduced in CMD+CTRL Courses. Learn Labs are usually appropriate for beginner to intermediate-level learners and are available to all customers with Course subscriptions.
Differences between the two lab types are illustrated below.
